About Stone Creek
Stone Creek Zen Center is a Buddhist practice center in the Soto Zen tradition. The core activity at the center is zazen—meditation—”just sitting,” aiming at being present right now in the fullness of reality. Zen practice means waking up to your life in the universe in each particular moment. It is a wholehearted investigation of how to live, with attention and care, together with all beings.

The Teachers
Jisho Warner, roshi, is our head teacher. Jisho Roshi makes her warm presence and deep teachings available to us in groups and individually. You are welcome to make an appointment to talk with her about Zen practice and its place in your life.

Joko Haselwood, sensei, assists Jisho at Stone Creek and leads the weekly Empty Bowl Zen group in Cotati.
The Sangha — Our community members come from all walks of life. We share in a wide range of activities that allow each person to find a gate to their own Zen practice.
