Stone Creek Zen Center offers regularly scheduled weekly Yoga classes. Yoga and Zen meditation are complementary. These two forms of practice can support and deepen each other.

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 am Corina teaches Yoga for Strength.
Wednesdays at 9 am Kristin teaches Jivana Yoga
Thursdays at 6 pm and Saturdays at 9 am, Corina teaches Yoga.
Yoga with Corina
Corina began her study of the body from the outside through Biology and Modern Dance and from the inside through meditation and a yoga practice. After a serious bicycle accident, practice became a way to heal and explore how the body/mind affect each other. She teaches in the Viniyoga style which emphasizes appropriate application of all the yoga tools including postures, breath, sound and meditation to the unique condition of the individual. She uses her science background to incorporate anatomy and kinesiology, and her dance/meditation background to bring a somatic, heart based approach to class. She has been teaching yoga since 2005. Kristin Laak has dedicated the last 30 years to the practice and study of Yoga. Being devoted to the work of Dr. Shankaranarayana Jois, her teacher since 1994, she has tapped deep insight and knowledge of yoga. Her studies in India, with Dr. Shankaranarayana Jois, focus on traditional Indian Philosophy, Yoga Psychology, Ayurveda, Pranayama, Meditation, and the impact of lifestyle choices on well-being. Kristin is a board member of Sadvidya Foundation, and its US director of the Jivana Yoga Program.
Kristin teaches Jivana Yoga, a holistic system based in the ancient traditions of India. Through her heartfelt commitment towards truly understanding human nature and many years of personal practice, Kristin is known for helping others to realize their own authentic connection to a healthy lifestyle and Yoga.
Additionally, Kristin mentors individuals and yoga teachers. She has been instrumental in paving the way towards renewal, inner clarity, direction and vitality for many: Mentoring.
Vital Flow Healing is the therapeutic practice Kristin has established. Working with individuals to support well-being and health in their lives: Vital Flow.
Melissa teaches a holistic style of yoga, pulling from diverse backgrounds of wonderful teachers. She completed her Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher Training through the dhyana Center in Sebastopol, CA. She brings to yoga a background as a Reiki Master (energy support) and as a Ayurvedic Coach, offering assessment and bodywork to her clients. She has studied in Northern India deepening her knowledge and passion for Yoga, and of Ayurvedic Medicine, in the form of teaching self-care. She believes there is a deep healing that happens by coming to the mat and that yoga is not meant to hurt your body or put a strain on your mind. She teaches students to become their bodies best friend.
This class is for all levels. Intended to reset the nervous system to a healthy state of calm. It is a gentle flow, focusing on moving with the breath and pausing between poses. We begin with a heart opener and warming up the spine. Techniques are implemented to unwind anxiety and stress that gets trapped in the body. We gently move into asana (pose’s) which build strength, core and balance for the body/mind. Ending with restorative stretching, and a deep Savasana (relaxation) with the healing power of Reiki (energy balancing).
